About Stephanie

Stephanie Carter founded Wallaroo Hat Company in April of 1999. She has been the Founder and CEO for the last 22 years. She was a pioneer in the sun protection industry by introducing hats with a UPF rating of 50+ long before any other companies had even considered the idea. Carter introduced the idea of UPF rated hats to the US market in 1999 and set the trend for years to come. Prior to starting Wallaroo, Carter was an attorney practicing law in the Boulder/Denver area.
