About Marlo

Marlo started out as a news reporter/journalist in south Florida. She taught aerobics classes as a "hobby." After getting married and having children, and then writing a book, Marlo decided to make her hobby a career. She even went back to school for a master's degree in health education and taught as a professor at a local college. Marlo teaches about 10 fitness classes a week and trains clients of all ages, most catering to the 55+ communities.

Marlo also puts on total wellness seminars and most recently has branched out into a new venture: wellness vacations and retreats. A longtime runner and now walker, she has run several marathons/half-marathons, mostly in Disney World, where she also got married. Marlo has two sons, 17 and 21. Other longtime hobbies include veggie gardening and ballroom dancing.
