And sometimes, walking is a time to up our fitness and challenge our limits, and there is no better way to do that than with a coach in our ear, helping us go a little faster, work a little harder and giving us the inspiration and motivation we need to reach our next goal or reset our mind. 

That’s where 99 Walks walking classes come in. The coaches do the planning for us.

Whether new to walking for fitness and wellness, returning to a walking practice, coming back from an injury, gearing up for the next 5k or half-marathon, or looking to transform a walking practice in a full-body workout, there is a class for everyone. The 99 Walks coaches have gone the extra mile with us in mind, and we’re doubling the classes we offer with more variety, different time options, and more choices to fit our goals and abilities.

New Outdoor Walking Classes

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Joining our powerful lineup of outdoor classes encouraging us to lace up and head out the door, we’ve added several classes to amp up our fitness goals with short but effective classes to really challenge our limits. 

Hill Walk: No more avoiding the hills on your walk. Seek them out and join Coach Natalie for a 20-minute class that will get you climbing! The best part? You can make it your own.

Park Walk: It’s always a good day for a walk in the park, especially with Coach Natalie guiding you. This 20-minute class not only includes walking, but you’ll also want to find a picnic table for some additional exercises to round out your class. 

I Dare You Walk: Take a walk with Coach Martine. C’mon, we dare you! In this 15-minute class, you’ll grow stronger in body and mind as Coach Martine challenges you to think about your goals and put your words and thoughts into action. 

Active Recovery Walk: Take a deep breath in, let it out, and join Coach Carrie for a 30-minute class focused on slowing things down. But even though we’re slowing things down, Coach Carrie will still have you working as she leads you through an active recovery class that will allow you to focus on your body to help it rest, reset, restore and prepare for your next big walk. 

New Indoor Walking Classes:

We know there’s times where getting outside isn’t possible, so we’ve expanded our indoor walking classes to give us all the options we may need to keep moving in the comfort of our home. These time-saving 15-minute classes will have us crushing our miles in no time!

Chair Walk: Who says you can’t walk in a chair? Not us. And not Coach Natalie. This 15-minute class is designed for those brand new to walking, recovering and overcoming from an injury, or maybe just looking to try a new way to walk. Coach Natalie will guide you through seated chair walking and chair supported movements to improve your strength and stamina to get you back on your feet.

Tread 15: Turn up the dial!! Coach Carrie will keep you company and encourage you in this quick 15-minute treadmill class. The pace is yours to choose, but you’ll feel ready to conquer the day once this walking class is complete. 

Stretch & Core: Sometimes what your body needs is a good, gentle stretch, and Coach Jenny’s Stretch & Core is the perfect way to do just that. On its own, after a walk, or stacked with other walking classes, Coach Jenny will help improve your flexibility and range of motion and make your body feel oh-so-good. Before you begin this 15-minute class, we recommend you grab a yoga mat, soft blanket or chair. Come and get your stretch on. Your body will thank you for it.

New Mindset & Recovery Classes:

It’s important to give our body a chance to reset and recover, so that’s why we’ve added the perfect rest day option when we still want to move, but may want to ease up on the intensity.
