99 Walks Team Favorite Quarantine Snacks

It’s time to admit it. The kitchen is a room we’re visiting more frequently now that we’re home all the time. And not just for the main meals, but also in between. But, don’t fret. Snacking can actually be good for you if it keeps you from overeating at mealtime. So, what is the 99 Walks team snacking on these days? We surveyed the team and they shared their favorites.

  1. Dried Shitake Mushrooms: Pack Leader Joyce admits her current favorite go-to snack is a little on the “weird” side, but these gems are crispy, the right amount of sweet, non-GMO, and available at Costco.

  2. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ONE Bar: As a Crossfit enthusiast, 99 Walks Co-Founder Eric finds his fuel with this guilt-free protein bar boasting only 1 gram of sugar.

  3. Popchips Nutter Puffs: While on zoom calls, a bag of these peanut buttery snacks aren’t far from Marketing Manager Mary’s reach. They have all the things we love in our snacks like non-GMO and gluten-free, but they’re also downright delicious.

  4. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Lara Bar: You might be surprised, but the snack that keeps calling our Community Manager Jamie’s name only has 4 simple ingredients. Dates, peanuts, chocolate chips and sea salt are all that make up this protein-packed snack, but it will fuel you through your 3:00 PM slump for sure.

  5. Mango Chile Lime Harvest Snaps: Because she couldn’t decide on one, Jamie also can’t get enough of these black bean snack crisps. With a little bit of sweet, a touch of heat, and a healthy serving of sass, she’s able to sail through the day with just the right amount of pep.

  6. Veggies and Roasted Red Pepper Sabra Hummus: There’s no reason Product Manager Megan should feel guilty about her go-to snack. This classic can be found at any grocery store and comes in many bold flavors. Next time you hit the store, grab a tub or two, and don’t forget the bell peppers and bag of carrots!

  7. Baby Carrots with Ranch-Seasoned Greek Yogurt: All I can say here is our Social Media Manager Jessica is a genius. She keeps it simple and healthy by mixing a Ranch dressing powder packet with plain, fat-free Greek yogurt and dips baby carrots in the creamy concoction.

  8. Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps with Nutella: Sweet and salty is the name of the game for Data Analyst Sherry. These pretzels are perfectly snackable and ideal for spreading chocolatey Nutella on top.

  9. Black Jewel Popcorn with Urban Accents White Cheddar Seasoning: For Production and Content Assistant Erin, she fires up a burner on the stove to pop some antioxidant-rich kernels and, once popped, dusts the crunchy snack with white cheddar seasoning. Yum!
